Entrepreneurship as a Subject

Assalamualaikum, greetings everyone! Let me tell you something. I am a Diploma in English Communication (DEC) student and I have Entrepreneurship as one of my subjects for this semester. For your information, Entrepreneurship is a subject that every semester 5 has to take in every KPM (Kolej Profesional Mara). For your information, there's even a programme of Diploma in Entrepreneurship in Kolej Profesional Mara Bandar Melaka. Interesting facts, right? I mean, Entrepreneurship is indeed interesting. Learning Entrepreneurship is a need, actually. 

Entrepreneurship as a subject isn't just a good idea, in fact it is a BRILLIANT idea! Let's give birth to entrepreneurs! Well, not literally. The world should be filled with entrepreneurs as we need them. They're the experts in Business World. Why should one indulge in the biz world? One of them is to avoid ourselves from being lied on in selling and buying. Entrepreneurs are smart in detecting lies in the business world. If we do not want to be easily deceived by business people, why not we just be entrepreneurs, ourselves? Seems logical, right?

I think implementing Entrepreneurship as a subject in every school and college/university is a brilliant idea because people would get the insights of business world. It is to tell people that Entrepreneurship will bring many benefits towards someone. Not just for the profit, but also to urge us to work harder to achieve something, to create something, to reach for success. Entrepreneurship is not solely just about money. It teaches us self-discipline and determination. That's priceless. In addition, if children being taught how to do business, they can make extra money. By that, they don't have to ask much money from their parents, especially to buy whatever that they desire. Cool, I know.

Rodov & Truong (2015) claimed, "Entrepreneurship education benefits students from all socioeconomic backgrounds because it teaches kids to think outside the box and nurtures unconventional talents and skills. Furthermore, it creates opportunity, ensures social justice, instills confidence and stimulates the economy,". [k] So, what are you waiting for? Implement Entrepreneurship as a subject now and let's produce more entrepreneurs!
